Just Be Me Dance

Text on the meme

SOMETHING THAT WE KNOW ABOUT YOU YOU LEARN TO GET UP AND DANCE OH, YEAH! HOW ABOUT YOU BREAK OUT THOSE MOVES? FOR YOUR TWO BIGGEST FANS YOU LIKE TO DO JUST BE YOU JUST BE ME!

What it means

In a colorful animated children’s playroom, two fathers encourage their red-haired child to show a dance for his two biggest fans. The child changes into a sparkly princess-style outfit and dances, while the repeated “just be you” and “just be me” lyrics create an ironic punchline about an unexpectedly dramatic transformation. It works as a reaction to someone taking self-expression to an extreme.
