Unexpected Passenger on a Dark Road

Text on the meme

I made you think that I would always stay I said some things that I should never say I broke your heart like someone did to mine and now you will love me for a second time

What it means

A dashcam car drives down a dark dirt road before a strange pale creature suddenly appears in the headlights. The clip then cuts to a surreal car interior with a solemn woman and a kangaroo-like animal sitting side by side as The Weeknd’s melancholic pop song “Save Your Tears” plays. The dramatic lyrics turn the absurd animal passenger and awkward staring into a reaction meme about emotional damage, regret, and an unwanted second chance.
