Text on the meme

my metamorphosis begins... oh god my flesh... is... melting... the form they promised me is great but my transition shall be agonizing AAAHHHHHHH OH GOD PLEASE KILL ME Our Father, who heaven... hallowed be th... thy kingdom... thy will... on earth... THE horrific otherwordly sounds...

What it means

A four-panel comic shows a pale humanoid painfully transforming, bleeding and screaming amid chaotic black scribbles. It prays for death as the metamorphosis becomes increasingly horrific, before the final panel reveals a small strange flying creature against a blue background. The meme jokes about suffering through an agonizing transformation for a supposedly desirable final form, used for dramatic reactions to difficult transitions or changes.
