Kiryu Meets Candice

Text on the meme

HEY KIRYU DO YOU KNOW CANDICE あなたのお母さんは自分自身を掛けた！！！！！！龍が如く

What it means

Asuka Langley Soryu from Neon Genesis Evangelion asks Kazuma Kiryu, “do you know Candice?” Kiryu responds with an intense Japanese line, followed by the Yakuza logo, turning the Candice joke into an absurd dramatic reaction. Used as a reaction when a silly setup receives an unexpectedly serious, over-the-top response; the music and voiced Japanese delivery heighten the melodrama.
