Army commander orders DnD campaign

[OC] We taught our Army unit's commander about DnD and started setting up a campaign. After a few schedule conflicts she realized she can just order us to show up lol DEPARTMENT OF THE ARMY MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD SUBJECT: Dungeons and Dragons Campaign 1. This memo serves to record the designated members of the Dungeons and Dragons Campaign, heretofore known as the Kraken Kampaign. 2. In January, several Soldiers within the volunteered to begin a Dungeons and Dragons campaign. Those Soldiers are: a. SSG b. CPT c. SGT d. SGT e. SSG 3. The Kraken Kampaign is open to other members, inasmuch as they complete character development on or before 1200 on 26 February. 4. The Kraken Kampaign will begin at 1200 on 26 February. 5. Excuses are no longer valid, except for true emergencies. 6. The point of contact for this memorandum is CPT at or at CPT, OD Commander

A Reddit post shows an official-looking U.S. Army memorandum establishing a Dungeons & Dragons group called the “Kraken Kampaign.” The unit commander turns a hobby game plagued by scheduling conflicts into a mandatory formation, declaring that excuses are no longer valid except for real emergencies. It is used as a funny reaction to the eternal problem of getting a D&D group to actually meet.
