Cat Remembers Mom Grooming

Text on the meme

I saw this thing where if you brush your cat with a damp toothbrush it reminds them of being groomed by their mom...

What it means

A person gently brushes a relaxed black cat’s head with a damp toothbrush while it lies on a fluffy pink blanket. The joke is the tender discovery that the toothbrush imitates a mother cat grooming her kitten, making the cat look soothed and nostalgic. It is used as a wholesome reaction to pets being pampered or comforted.
