A screenshot of a tweet by Lord Miles Routledge shows a photo of a grey-and-brown wallet held beside a red coach seat. He says he initially blamed Romanians when his wallet disappeared on a Romanian bus, then says a man had actually pickpocketed somebody else and his wallet was returned after the thief was removed. The joke is the deliberately provocative, prejudiced-sounding conclusion that he was “right” to suspect Romanians despite the wallet apparently not being stolen by them.
