Peaceful Aliens Visit Earth

Text on the meme

"HELLO WE COME IN PEA-" "AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH PEOPLE WHO LOOK DIFFERENT FROM ME AAAAAAAAAAAAA KILL KILL KILL" Neil deGrasse Tyson Humans kill one another so often, for all reasons including none, I wonder how we'd treat peaceful Aliens who visited Earth.

What it means

A Twitter-style meme shows a person beginning to welcome peaceful aliens before panicking and demanding that people who look different be killed, illustrated with screaming aliens and a man aiming two guns. A quote from Neil deGrasse Tyson points out the irony that humans frequently kill one another for no reason and wonders how humanity would treat peaceful extraterrestrial visitors. It is used as a darkly absurd reaction to xenophobia, violence, and human hypocrisy.
