The Roles Are Reversed

Text on the meme

The roles are reversed HEY ASUKA, DO YOU KNOW CANDICE? YOU'RE THE WEAKEST SYMBIOTE OF YOUR KIND GAAAAAHHHHHH!!! 新世紀エヴァンゲリオン EVANGELION

What it means

A four-panel crossover meme reverses the usual roles between Venom and Asuka from Evangelion: Venom delivers a “Candice” bait joke, while Asuka screams an insult at him. The punchline is the absurd swap of Venom’s menacing persona with Asuka’s exaggerated anime rage, making it useful as a reaction to an unexpected reversal.
