Anime Marine Recruiting Poster

Text on the meme

spotted at an official US Marines recruiting booth U.S. MARINES ACTIVE SERVICE ON LAND AND SEA ENLIST AT MARINES.COM

What it means

A framed U.S. Marines recruiting poster shows an anime-style female sailor marching with a rifle on a ship, with military ships and a city behind her. The joke is the incongruous use of anime art in an official military recruitment advertisement, making it a funny example of unexpected anime aesthetics in real-world propaganda.
