You Are Now Defending

Text on the meme

really tainted stuff YOU ARE NOW DEFENDING! The teams have been auto-balanced

What it means

A four-panel reaction collage shows dark and distressed faces alongside cartoon game characters and a red team-balancing notification. The joke is that something disturbing or emotionally overwhelming has suddenly turned into a competitive situation where the viewer is assigned to defend, making it useful as an absurd reaction to being forced into an argument or conflict.
