A first-person Payday 2 player moves across a dark, rainy rooftop while holding a pistol, then the clip abruptly cuts to a creepy clown mask pressed close to Patrick Bateman’s face. The spoken frustration about not being able to stand there turns the game’s invisible boundary message into an absurd confrontation, as if the clown is personally mocking the player. The aggressive track “RETRIBUTION” by GORT the GOD intensifies the angry, surreal punchline.
