Growing Female Interest in PlayStation
Gender GROWING FEMALE INTEREST IN PLAYSTATION GAMING *Female Proportion Among Console Ownership PS1 18% PS4/PS5 41%
A mock infographic claims that female PlayStation ownership rose from 18% during the PS1 era to 41% with the PS4/PS5, illustrated by a collage of female characters and a grinning black-and-white face below. The joke exaggerates the statistic and presents the growing presence of women in gaming as an absurdly dramatic development, making it useful as an ironic reaction to gaming demographics or PlayStation fandom.
