The Dwarves Dug Too Deep

Kramer, what's going on in there? The Dwarves dug too greedily and too deep, Jerry.

Jerry confronts Kramer about what is happening, followed by a fiery underground scene and the explanation that the dwarves dug too greedily and too deep. The joke combines a scene from Seinfeld with a reference to The Lord of the Rings, making it a reaction to an excessive or disastrous situation.
