Patrick Bateman Birthday Celebration

Text on the meme

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

What it means

Patrick Bateman hosts an unsettling birthday celebration: he smiles at the camera, an axe is raised over a cake, guests sit in a stark apartment, champagne is poured, and Bateman drinks before talking with Paul Allen. The cheerful party imagery becomes darkly absurd because it is intercut with violence and the ominous “Hey Paul!” audio, turning a polished celebration into an American Psycho reaction edit.
