1968 Israeli Shekel Coin
1968 Israeli ‘shekel’
A blurry close-up shows a coin labeled “1968 Israeli ‘shekel’,” featuring Hebrew lettering around the edge and ancient-looking religious or historical imagery in the center. The joke is the absurdly anachronistic appearance of a supposedly modern 1968 coin, making it look like an artifact from biblical times and useful as a reaction to something bizarre or ancient-looking.
