2012 Was Ten Years Ago
2012 was 10 years ago
A hand slowly moves beside a ledge before the clip cuts to a grim, aging-looking Gus Fring from Breaking Bad, ending on a black screen. The caption turns the passage of time into an existential joke: realizing how long ago 2012 was feels painfully unreal. Eyedress’s dreamy, melancholic song “Jealous” makes the reaction more wistful and dramatic.
