I Am Ballin Faded Drowning

I AM BALLIN I AM FADED I AM DROWNING HELP ME TO BREATHE

A surreal video montage cuts between an anime-styled basketball shot, a person looking faded, a Minecraft character drowning, and a distressed man asking for help breathing. The captions escalate the lyrics-like joke from “I AM BALLIN” to “I AM FADED” and “I AM DROWNING,” ending with “HELP ME TO BREATHE.” The montage is set to bôa’s alternative-rock song “Duvet,” whose dreamy, melancholic mood makes the increasingly absurd suffering feel dramatic and funny as a reaction to being overwhelmed.
