You Replace the Main Character

Text on the meme

you replace the MC in: you replace the MC in: CHAINSAW MAN Tatsuki Fujimoto MADE IN ABYSS

What it means

A two-panel comparison shows replacing the main character in Chainsaw Man and Made in Abyss, followed by two horrified reaction faces. The joke is that both series are emotionally devastating and dangerous for their protagonists, so taking the MC’s place would be terrifying.
