Discovering a New Species
Discovering a new species as a: Scuba Diver Discovering a new species as an: Epidemiologist
A two-panel black-and-white meme contrasts a scuba diver calmly discovering a new species with an epidemiologist discovering one with a horrified expression. The joke is that a new species is exciting underwater but alarming during an infectious-disease investigation, so it is used as a reaction to unexpectedly dangerous discoveries.
