No One Cared Until The Mask

>going to a party >everybody watching movies >be generally introverted >haven’t talked to anyone, just been watching the movies >movie ends, people debate what to watch >I decide to put on the movie I brought >it was pretty funny, and it had Jim Carrey in it >everyone really likes it >people start talking to me and thank me for bringing the movie >no one cared who I was until I put on The Mask

An introverted person goes to a party and stays quiet while everyone watches movies. After putting on The Mask, starring Jim Carrey, everyone enjoys it and suddenly pays attention to him. The joke references The Dark Knight quote “No one cared who I was until I put on the mask,” using it literally as a reaction to finally being noticed.
