Getting ready to go on a date with my girlfriend

What it means

The Joker sits at a restaurant table with an anime-style girl, grinning and pulling at the corners of his mouth to make an exaggerated smile. The joke is that he is preparing for a romantic date by literally forcing himself to look cheerful, making the situation awkward and unsettling. It is used as a reaction to pretending to be happy or socially prepared for a date.
