Iran Wants War

Text on the meme

Oh the Irany ... IRAN WANTS WAR IRAN LOOK HOW CLOSE THEY PUT THEIR COUNTRY TO OUR MILITARY BASES

What it means

A map meme shows Iran surrounded by numerous American flags representing U.S. military bases, with the captions “IRAN WANTS WAR” and “LOOK HOW CLOSE THEY PUT THEIR COUNTRY TO OUR MILITARY BASES.” The joke sarcastically pretends that Iran deliberately placed its country next to U.S. bases, reversing the usual geopolitical interpretation. It is used as a reaction to criticize American military presence or absurdly blame Iran for the situation.
