Girlfriend Explains the Hair Dryer

Text on the meme

*My girlfriend explaining why her blind mother shot herself in the head *Me who gave her the gun last night & told her it's a hair dryer

What it means

A two-panel meme shows a girlfriend explaining that her blind mother shot herself in the head, while the person who gave her the gun the previous night and called it a hair dryer looks on with a blank, guilty expression. The joke is dark and absurd, portraying someone realizing they caused a tragic accident through a bizarre lie. It is used as a reaction to guilt, recklessness, or an unexpectedly disastrous consequence.
