They Don't Know Saruman
They don't know that that wizard guy is actually Saruman as illustrated by Angus McBride for the Middle-Earth roleplaying book Valar & Maiar, which was later reused for the Saruman card in the 1995 Middle-Earth: The Wizards CCG. Also I wonder if they realise that by pondering the Orthanc-stone, Saruman exposed himself to the influence of the Dark Lord, thereby succumbing to corruption and losing his rightful place as the head of White Council Valar & Maiar SARUMAN House: Isengard
A group of simple line-drawn people stand around while one wizard-like figure wears a cone hat, with images of the Valar & Maiar book and a Saruman trading card overlaid in the center. The joke is that the oblivious people do not recognize the wizard as Saruman, while the caption humorously explains an extremely obscure piece of Middle-earth roleplaying and card-game lore. It is used as a reaction to being the only person who notices or cares about a niche reference.
