Kabosu Becomes Doge

Text on the meme

KABOSU, 2021 DOGE, 2021 HAPPY BIRTHDAY Still think memes don't affect your life? Think twice.

What it means

A split-panel meme contrasts a happy Shiba Inu named Kabosu in 2021 with a strange, heavily transformed Doge-shaped object labeled 2021. The joke suggests that internet memes can dramatically change how a real animal is perceived and remembered, so memes truly affect real life. It is sent as an absurd reaction to the lasting cultural impact of memes.
