Because Internet NFT Theft
Did you know that twitter sent the file for your NFT to my device automatically? I just navigated to a tweet, and because you made it your profile picture, the data was automatically transferred to my computer and saved locally so that it could be displayed. Because internet is this true? @Twitter? did you send my NFT without my consent?
A fake Twitter exchange shows one user humorously claiming that viewing another person’s NFT profile picture automatically transferred the NFT file to their computer. The second user takes the absurd explanation seriously and asks Twitter whether the NFT was sent without consent. The joke mocks NFT ownership rhetoric and the idea that merely viewing or copying an image constitutes theft.
