Mom Approves My Waifu

Text on the meme

>Got my first figure the other day of my waifu >displayed it on my pc desk >mom notices it >”oh where did you get this? She’s real cute omg” >tell her the video game she’s from >mom actually looks up YouTube videos of her >next day >”she’s a very sweet girl Anon you need to find a girlfriend like her!” Thanks mom.

What it means

A crying anime girl is shown above a greentext story about a mother admiring her son’s waifu figure, researching the character online, and encouraging him to find a girlfriend like her. The punchline is the awkward contrast between the mother treating a fictional anime character as a real girl and the son replying “Thanks mom.” EN: A crying anime girl is shown above a greentext story about a mother admiring her son’s waifu figure, researching the character online, and encouraging him to find a girlfriend like her.
