Nuclear Test in the Area

Text on the meme

the US military is conducting a nuclear weapons test in the area AND...?

What it means

A four-panel meme shows a warning that the US military is conducting a nuclear weapons test, followed by unimpressed cartoon faces asking “AND...?”, then a nuclear mushroom cloud and three fish skeletons. The joke is the absurdly casual reaction to an obviously catastrophic nuclear explosion, used to express indifference or dark humor about danger.
