Aerith Trans Headcanon Rejected

Text on the meme

Okay, let me get this straight: Aerith in the FF7 remake... -Is sarcastic -Cracks dad jokes -Constantly jokes about food -Wears a choker Ya’ll... I legit think Aerith is trans. This is why people dislike you. The only similarity she has to a trans is how early she dies.

What it means

A Twitter exchange discusses Aerith from the Final Fantasy VII Remake and jokingly interprets her personality and appearance as evidence that she is transgender. The reply delivers a dark, offensive punchline by comparing transgender identity to Aerith’s early death, mocking the original poster’s headcanon. It is used as an edgy reaction to an implausible or irritating fan interpretation.
