The Roman Empire Was Evil
The Roman Empire was evil
A grimacing stick-figure character condemns the Roman Empire, while a group of bearded men enthusiastically approves of it, with one giving a thumbs-up. The joke contrasts moral criticism of the empire with exaggerated admiration for Roman history and power, making it useful as an ironic reaction to someone praising the Roman Empire.
