India's Moon Mission Defecates
India's spacecraft successfully defecates on the Moon India's Chandrayaan-3 becomes the first space mission to land and take a dump near the south pole of the Moon.
A crowded Indian mission control room erupts in celebration, with scientists and staff raising their arms and cheering. The joke is a crude parody of a news headline about Chandrayaan-3 landing on the Moon, using “defecates” and “take a dump” as an absurd double meaning. It is sent as a reaction to celebrate an achievement while making it deliberately vulgar.
