Cillian Murphy at the Beach

Cillian Murphy Oppenheimer

A fast, surreal montage shows a crowded pink beach, several men in black suits and hats, and close-ups of Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer, ending with the title cards “Cillian Murphy” and “Oppenheimer.” The cheerful The Beach Boys song “Fun, Fun, Fun” contrasts absurdly with the stern Oppenheimer imagery and the repeated “Hi Hitler” audio, making the clip feel like an intentionally chaotic reaction edit. It works as a meme for an absurd, darkly comic or overdramatic situation. Hi Hitler! Hi Hitler! Hi Hitler! But remember this day!
