Watching Friends for the First Time

Text on the meme

"omg you should watch FRIENDS, it's so funny!" Me watching FRIENDS:

What it means

A confused-looking Tony Soprano sits in bed while watching the sitcom Friends. The joke is that someone enthusiastically recommends Friends as hilarious, but the viewer’s reaction suggests bafflement, dislike, or failure to understand the appeal. It is used as a sarcastic reaction to popular media that someone finds unfunny. EN: A confused-looking Tony Soprano sits in bed while watching the sitcom Friends.
