What it means

A post says, “yes im gay, yes i live in iran. we exist,” and the Iranian Government replies, “Not for long.” The clip cuts to a distressed black cartoon bird, while Mozart’s solemn choral Requiem in D minor makes the government’s threatening punchline feel dramatically tragic and absurd. It is used as a dark reaction to hostile authorities or sudden bad news.
