Pigeon Beats the Internet
In 2009 a pigeon named Winston raced Telkom, South Africa's largest ISP, to see who could deliver 4GB of data to a location 60 miles away the fastest. By the time Winston arrived with the 4GB flash drive, Telkom had transmitted only 4% of the data. YEAH NATURE, BITCH!
A pigeon named Winston is shown carrying a flash drive, followed by a scene of the pigeon-headed character celebrating with a bald man. The joke is that a literal pigeon delivered data faster than a major internet provider, mocking slow internet and celebrating nature's victory. It is shared as a reaction to unusually fast offline methods or frustratingly slow internet.
