when you rescue a stray puppy

What it means

A person reaches out to a small black animal on a carpet, which excitedly crawls and runs toward the hand. The clip then cuts to the animal appearing as a large, ominous black creature with glowing eyes. The joke exaggerates rescuing a stray puppy as unexpectedly adopting a terrifying monster.
