And Quiet Flows the Don Netflix Parody
ORIGINAL NOVEL BY MIKHAIL SHOLOKHOV A NETFLIX SERIES AND QUIET FLOWS THE DON SUMMER 2023 | NETFLIX
A parody Netflix poster shows a stern Black man with a large afro wearing an ornate historical military-style uniform and holding a sword. The joke reimagines Mikhail Sholokhov’s Russian novel as an extravagant Netflix adaptation, humorously clashing the original Cossack setting with the stylized casting and poster design.
