If I Were an Eagle
If I were an Eagle:
A serious-looking monkey is digitally composited onto a flying eagle, gliding through a dramatic mountain landscape while casually eating. The joke is the absurd mismatch between the majestic “eagle” fantasy and the monkey’s relaxed, snack-focused behavior, making it a reaction for feeling powerful, carefree, or oddly satisfied. Aerosmith’s rock ballad “Dream On” adds an overly dramatic, aspirational mood that heightens the contrast and makes the absurd flight feel hilariously grand.
