A cartoon Puss in Boots enthusiastically dances and spins in front of a Na’vi from Avatar while a split Rotten Tomatoes-style comparison shows Puss in Boots: The Last Wish scoring higher with critics and audiences than Avatar: The Way of Water. The joke is that the tiny animated cat celebrates his movie’s better ratings by performing an absurdly confident dance at Avatar’s expense, making it a reaction to unexpectedly superior results or playful rivalry. The clip is set to Antonio Banderas & Heitor Pereira’s “Fearless Hero,” whose triumphant, swashbuckling music makes Puss’s victory dance feel dramatically heroic and heightens the comedic contrast.
