Barbie MIDSOMMAR

What it means

EN: This mashup combines the bright world of Barbie with the unsettling atmosphere of the film “Midsommar”: girls in pale dresses hold hands around a flower-covered circle. The joke comes from the contrast between Barbie’s glamorous doll aesthetic and folk horror, so the image is used as a reaction to a situation that looks beautiful but feels ominous.
