Earth's Last Contingency Plan
EARTH'S LAST CONTINGENCY PLAN GENOCIDAL FORGE DRIVEN BY VENGEANCE LATE TO WORK
Duke Nukem and the Doom Slayer are presented as Earth’s last contingency plan, while Gordon Freeman arrives late to work in a Black Mesa facility. The joke contrasts two hyperviolent FPS heroes with Gordon Freeman’s ordinary-looking workplace arrival, referencing their games and the idea that the most dangerous men in FPS are still just coworkers.
