The Ultimate Hamon Trick

Text on the meme

And we're gonna show you a cool Hamon trick!

What it means

Two boys announce their cool Hamon trick, then violently yank the tablecloth and send the table flying. The joke cuts to an anime character crying in despair, making the harmless household stunt feel like a devastating tragedy; Taku Iwasaki’s dramatic orchestral anime soundtrack, “Il Mare Eterno Nella Mia Anima,” heightens the absurdity.
