American Culinary Lore

“white ppl have no culture” okay then wtf is this 🙄🤦 FAMILY SIZE Great Value Orange Gelatin Dessert Fat-Free Pineapple Tidbits 100% PINEAPPLE JUICE

A TikTok-style cooking video responds to the claim that white people have no culture by dramatically preparing a strange orange gelatin dessert with pineapple, juice, and a creamy mixture. The joke is that this chaotic, unappetizing dish is presented as supposed “American culture,” making the caption an ironic rebuttal. The clip is accompanied by Geek Music’s “Ocarina of Time (From "the Legend of Zelda"),” a dramatic video-game soundtrack cover whose grand, nostalgic mood heightens the absurdity of the cooking process.
