What it means

A four-panel comparison shows Joseph Stalin walking with several people and then one person disappearing, mirrored by a group of game-industry figures where one person is also removed. The joke compares historical photo manipulation with editing someone out of a modern group photo, often used as an absurd reaction to exclusion or censorship.
