1939 Tunis Suez Djibouti Run
1939 TUNIS-SUEZ-GIBUTI
A muscular, faceless runner carries an enormous bundle of military equipment while sprinting past a sign reading “TUNIS-SUEZ-GIBUTI,” with “1939” above him. The image humorously evokes frantic wartime mobilization and the absurd scale of military burdens, making it suitable as a reaction to being sent back into military bureaucracy or service.
