Cycling Through the Week

Text on the meme

Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday

What it means

A cartoon shows a cyclist struggling uphill from Monday through Thursday, reaching the top on Friday, then riding downhill through Saturday and Sunday. The joke compares the weekly work cycle to a hill: the workweek is exhausting and climbs toward a peak, while the weekend is easy and enjoyable. It is commonly sent as a relatable reaction to the contrast between weekdays and weekends.
