Save Your Best Friend or Date Applejack

Text on the meme

Save your best friend from dying or have a date with Applejack?

What it means

Applejack from My Little Pony sits at a restaurant table with salad and Busch Light cans while Keanu Reeves, wearing headphones, drinks wine and gradually reacts with pained, overwhelmed expressions. The choice between saving a best friend and dating Applejack is absurdly impossible, and Keanu’s dramatic reaction, paired with Joji’s melancholic song “Glimpse of Us” and the heard “I'm sorry,” turns the dilemma into a melodramatic reaction meme.
