Nothing About Patrick Bateman

A split-screen video pairs Christian Bale discussing Patrick Bateman with an animated character staring intensely at a large artwork before the scene shifts to a laughing interviewer. The dry line that Bateman is completely unredeeming contrasts with the dramatic, overly serious animation, making the clip a sarcastic reaction to disliking a supposedly fascinating character. The synthetic-sounding speech and interview audio heighten the awkward, deadpan comedy. What do you like about Patrick Bateman? What do I like? Yeah I like nothing about him. I mean he's a completely unredeeming character
