Queer Elizabeth II Projection

Text on the meme

QUEER ELIZABETH II 1926–2022 We are free. We are strong. We are open for business.

What it means

A nighttime video shows a grand white building with a projection of Elizabeth II and the words “QUEER ELIZABETH II 1926–2022.” A colorful sign beside it reads “We are free. We are strong. We are open for business.” The joke presents the late queen in a queer and defiantly progressive reimagining, making the clip useful as an absurd or surprised reaction.
